Mrs. Sarah Ann Benner, widow of Jacob Benner, died yesterday in the home of her son-in-law, Henry Howett, at Steelsville, south of Christiana, of a complication of diseases, aged 85 years. She was a member of the Strasburg M.E. church. The following children survive: Mrs. Henry Howett, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Mary McGowan, Middletown; Mrs. Amanda Reed, Christiana; John, of Cochranville; Mrs. Blanche Buckwalter, of Coatesville; Mrs. Laura Reinhart, of Kirkwood, and Mrs. Esther Jeffries, of Millersville.
