Born April 10, 1901, in Caribou, she was the daughter of Daniel Frank and Annie Daley Walton. Before she moved here, she was a resident of Jefferson and Unity for many years.
A graduate of Caribou High School, she attended both Farmington and Gorham Normal Schools and had been a school teacher in Jefferson for the past 15 years.
She was a member of the Lakeview Chapter, order of Eastern Star, Jefferson.
She is survived by her husband, Harold, a son Harold L. of Augusta; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Nichols of Whitefield; a brother of Chester Walton of Randolph; and five sisters, Mrs. Jennie Macomber of Virginia, Mrs. Beulah Libby of Unity, Mrs. Vivian Berry of Troy, Mrs. Allie Wood of Burnham and Mrs. Marjorie Jenkins of Belfast.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Union Church here. Burial will be made in the Pond Cemetery in Unity, Maine. (Published in the Waterville Morning Sentinel)
