Bill was the son of William L. and Pearl (Hanna) Martin. An area resident most of his life, Mr. Martin graduated from W. Springfield High School in Pennsylvania. He was retired as a millwright from RMI. He was an active member of East Side Presbyterian Church in Ashtabula where he sang in the choir, served as deacon and Sunday School teacher and was a member of the men's prayer group. He was a long-time member of the Town Choir and enjoyed cars, reading, and his church involvement. Survivors include his wife, Dora (Stone) Martin, whom he married Sept. 13, 1941; two daughters, Patricia (Bruce) Wheeler of E. Springfield, PA and shirley (Richard) Pustelak of Blue Ridge, VA as well as several grandchildren and great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra in 1963; and seven half-brothers and sisters.
