He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Rusty Lee Perry, sister Treva Oleta Beard and his wife of 60 years.
He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Lynn Wade; daughter Willo Dean and husband Bennie L. Konvicka, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren as follows: Kelly Ann and Scott Young, James Alton, John Alexander and Sarah Ann; Brenda and Lonnie McPearson, Colleen, Rachel and Gordon; Becky and Donald Bradley, Amy, Brittany, Kelly, Taisley and Eric; Susan and Albert Haas, Benjamin, Austin, Charlie and Tucker. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and a multitude of friends.
Mr. Perry trained and worked as a carpenter as a young man and retired from Shell Oil Company as an Operations Shift Foreman at the Deer Park Plant in 1965. He was a 65 year member of the Masonic Lodge of Cushing, Texas and a 60 year resident of Pasadena, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Thursday, September 28, 2006.
Funeral services will be at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 29, 2006. Masonic graveside services will be held at the McKnight Cemetery, Cushing, Texas at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2006.
A reception and lunch will be given by friends from Sacul and Cushing at the Masonic Lodge, 7th St. Cushing, Texas.
Honorary Pallbearers will be W.W. Coots, Forest Lee, C.A. Mosley, Billy Parker and Aubrey Nettles.
