Lorenzo "Ren" Jones, 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at his home, peacefully in his sleep, his sweetheart at his side.

Ren was an exceptional farmer, proud of his near-weedless fields. His wife and children worked at his side. He owned a sand and gravel business and tried his hand as a car salesman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most of all having his family around him. Oh, how he loved his family.

Survivors include his eternal companion, Della, Preston; his children, Steven (Patsy) Jones, Pingree, Idaho, Kathleen (Gerald) Cole, Cub River, Idaho, Elaine (LaVere) Martin, Sunset, Utah, Phyllis (Lee) Vincent, Sandy, Utah, Eva (Max) Gyllenskog, Smithfield, Betty Lou (Rex) Woodward, Franklin, Idaho, Marie (Scott) Leatham, Brigham City, Michael (Velma) Jones, Keiser, Ore.; 37 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel T.
