Philip was the beloved son of Philip Eugene Allen, Sr. and Sylvia Lee Allen. He was the grandson of Harvey Lee and Thelma Sommersett Lee. He is survived by his siblings, Charles Allen of Gulfport, Miss.; Cheryl Allen of Joshua Tree and Angela Shelley of Yucca Valley; nieces and nephews Krista and Lydia Allen of Sacramento, Bryanna, Shavaughn, Gene and Gabriella Evaro of Joshua Tree and Robert Shelley of Lake Elsinore; and Aunt Julia Cendejas of Redlands. Phillip and his Aunt Toni "Teddy" Lee , who was driving, had gone out for a drive on Scotts Hill Loop Road around 10:40 pm, took the curve too fast and the roof of their car slid into a tree. They both passed away at the scene of the accident. Eugene would have turned 15 the following day. He is deeply missed.
