Melva Anderson, 71 Services were held Tuesday for Melva May Anderson, 71, who died March 10 in a Healdsburg rest home. A teacher for 32 years, Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, past matron and member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Valley Home chapter, in Windsor, Daughters of the Nile in Santa Rosa. Rachel Shrine, Order of the White Shrine, Liberty Rebekah Lodge 71 and past president of the Gleaners Club, Windsor. Mrs. Anderson was a teacher in the Healdsburg High School District for 12 years and she lived for 25 years in Sonoma County. She taught math and science at Healdsburg Junior High School from 1955 to 1967. She is survived by her husband. Charles Anderson, Healdsburg. Burial was at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter City.
