Daughter of Francis and Freda Provost, sister of Michael, Patricia and Anthony, Lyn was the baby of the family. She was a person who had an insatiable appetite for learning, had a wicked sense of humor, and had a love of living. She grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Ball State and Indiana Universities and received a B.S. in Accounting in 1977. She passed her CPA Exam and worked in that field several years. In 1990 she returned to Indiana University and received her Masters of Business and her Ph.D. She then taught at Hofstra University, Illinois State University and Saginaw Valley State University. During this time she traveled to Taiwan to assist in teaching a graduate finance class.

Activities that she loved included traveling, reading, handcrafts, cooking spagetti and Hungarian goulash, finding a special prize on Ebay and keeping up with her children, Matthew, Kevin and Genevieve.

She is missed so much.
