Beatrice J. Averill, age 89, formerly of 103 S Jared Street, DuBois, PA died Friday at the DuBois Nursing Home.

Born July 9, 1901 in Rockton, PA the daughter of the late Harry R Wilson and Chloe Beers. She was married to the late Sanford B Averill, Sr.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Jones of DuBois, PA; two sons, Sanford B Averill, Jr and John R Averill of DuBois, PA; two sisters, Marjorie Burfield of Tuscon, Ariz and Mabel T Haines of DuBois, PA; one brother, Woodrow S Wilson of Fresno, Calif; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Friends will be received at the Mohney-Yarger Funeral Chapel Inc, DuBois, PA Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and until service time Monday. Service will be held from the funeral chapel Monday at 11 am with Rev Chris Ramsay, Rev Pat Ramsey and Rev James Hamilton officiating. Interment will be in the Rockton Cemetery, Rockton, PA.
