John William Aber was born on December 25, 1849. on September 5, 1867 in Hancock Co. Illinois he married to Miss Mary E. McCann. To this union eight children were born, two dying in infancy. Those living are all residents of this vicinity and were at his bedside when the final summons came. They are Mrs. Cora McLish, Luther, Fred, O.E., Mrs. Myrtle Brwon and Mamie. The wife and his mother also survive him. Other relatives living are a half sister, Sarah Dow, in Bureau Co. Illinois, a half brother Charles Underhill, living in Macon, Co. Missouri and a half brother living at Mountain Valley, Kansas. A half sister Elizabeth Lane lives at Tuttle, Oklahoma.
Mr. Aber and his family moved to Oklahoma in 1889 and have been residents near or in Minco for eighteen years.
Being a man of shrewd business judgment he lift his family considerate endowment as well as a lasting memory as a considerate father and husband.
The funeral services were held at the family residence at 10 O'Clock, Tuesday moring conducted by Rev, J.A. Backes of Tuttle, after which the remains were laid to rest in Minco's cemetery.
