Mrs. Alma Sophia Alexander passed away March 18 in her home on Johnson street after a long illness, at the age of 84. Mrs. Alexander was a native of Canada. In 1900 she came to Sutter County, California and moved to Healdsburg six years ago. Funeral services were held at the Chapel of Fred Young & Co., with the Rev. Martin Crabb, minister of the Federated Church, officiating, on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Federated Church. Further services were held on Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the McKary Memorial Chapel, Colusa, California, with interment at Sutter Cemetery, Sutter City, California. She is survived by her daughter Melva Anderson of Healdsburg and a brother George ? of Anderson.
