Born July 4, 1940 in Wellsboro, NY he was a son of the late Lester and Ruth (Ray) Fye.
He was married to Darlene (Armlovich) Fye who preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 2006.
He was retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Company where he worked as a shift leader with over 35 years service.
He is survived by one son: Vance Fye of Leesburg, GA; two grandchildren; one brother Bruce Fye of Leesburg, VA and one sister Joyce Clark of Reynoldsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Friends will be received on Oct. 16 from 6-9 p.m. at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Pastor Dick Burns officiating.
Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
