Mrs. Nell Fisk, familiarly known by many of her closest friends as "Aunt Nell", departed this life Sunday, August 4, 1918, at 10:20 p.m., aged 53 years, 2 months and 19 days, after having been in poor health for many months. Her last days were most peaceful and she lingered till the final call patient and trustful in God, surrounded by her family and close friends. Her absent son, Leon, who is with the Army in France, was fondly remembered.

Mrs. Fisk is survived by her husband, L.L Fisk, two daughters, Lillian and Audrey, and two sons, Raymond and Leon. Also James Fisk, who has recently been taken into her home and to whom she became a mother. One brother, Lyman Fisk, of Emporium, Pa., and one sister, Mrs. Elmer Lucus, now of Sistersville.

Mrs. Fisk was a devoted Christian mother and loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Woman's Benefit Association of the Maccabees who conducted services at her funeral, which was held at the M.E. church at 3 o'clock this afternoon.

Friends from out-of-town here to attend the funeral are: Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Fisk, Mrs. Howard Spangler, George Spangler, of Emporium, Pa.; Mrs. B.E. Cupler, Washington, Pa.; Miss Eurela Lucas, Weedsport, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Vern Carr, Porters Falls, W.Va.
