He married Amelia Schildt August 28, 1865, in Adams County and fathered Charles (b. @1859), Alice (b. @1861), Annie (b. @1863), David (b. @1865), Athalia B. (b. 01/22/69), Faith (b. @1870), Maurice (b. @1872), Louisa (b. @1874), and Cora Mary (b. @1878). In 1890, he lived in Union Township, Adams County.
