We learn that Mr. Silas Deland, blacksmith, of West Rutland, was severely, if not fatally, injured by being kicked by a horse which he was shoeing, a day or two since.

After going to press last week, we received the painful intelligence that Mr. Silas P. Deland of West Rutland, spoken of in our last , had died of his injuries. He was kicked by a horse which he was shoeing, on Monday of last week, receiving the blow in the pit of his stomach, and died on the Wednesday evening following. He was about fifty years of age.
