Leandra Sue Parduhn, age 63, of Sextonville, died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Meriter Park Hospital in Madison. She was born on September 23, 1944, in Basswood, the daughter of Marvin and Florence (Dvorak) Barber.
Leandra was a caregiver for over 30 years, most recently working at Woodgreen Estates, where she enjoyed spending time with the residents. She found pleasure in the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and her dog Tia. Leandra loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Leandra is survived by five children, Jamie (Alex) Tukiendorf of Cottage Grove, Tamara (John) Adams of Basswood, Jeri Lunk of Richland Center, Trenton (Rachel) Parduhn of Waunakee, Ryan Parduhn of Sextonville, four grandchildren, Chad, Christopher, Lacy, Leah, two step-grandchildren, Shawn, Karl, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Kittren Goodwiler of LaCrosse, Minda Barber of Basswood, a niece, Krista, a nephew, Kurt, as well as other relatives and friends.
Leandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry ‘Hank' Parduhn, and a great-grandchild, Cooper John Adams.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Basswood Union Church with Pastor Duane Thomas officiating. Burial was held at the Basswood Cemetery.
Friends called at the Basswood Church on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
