Jeanette McDougal, age 94, of Richland Center, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Richland Hospital. She was born March 28, 1914 in Basswood the daughter of Ray and Tressa (Elder) Hardy. On June 7, 1935 Jeanette married Leo Kovars and he preceded her in death. She later married Burl McDougal and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1995.
Jeanette is survived by two daughters, Marybeth (Francis) Froh of Ferryville, Bonnie (Rudy) Laue of Richland Center, 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, her sister Lorraine Schwingel of Muscoda, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Leo Kovars and Berl McDougal, and daughter Ruthann Kovars.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center with Pastor Randy Sanders officiating. Burial was held at the Blue River Valley Cemetery.
Friends called at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
The family suggested that memorials in Jeanette's name be given to the Park Street Christian Church.
The Pratt Funeral Service of Richland Center assisted the family with their arrangements.
