Clea Radford Collins, age 72, of Whitesburg, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 08, 2008.

He was a veteran of the Air Force. He worked as a farmer and as a security guard for various companies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Goldie and Bertha Collins of Rogersville.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Allie Jane Collins of Whitesburg; children, Donna (James) Buell of Bulls Gap, Tina Hatcher of Florence KY, Crystal (Jeffrey) Hill of Russellville, Jeffrey Collins of Moshiem, Jack (Debbie) Collins of KY, Bobbie Maurine Collins of IN; grandchildren, Joey (Sara) Collins of Rogersville, Danny M. Arnold of Whitesburg, Ricky L. Robinson Jr. of Russellville, Beth Greene of Lawrenceburg, Kyle Greene of Florence KY; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, James (Roberta) Collins of Jonesville VA, Franklin Collins of Rogersville, Kyle (Marta) Collins of Greeneville, Charlie Collins of Rogersville; sisters, Janice Arrington of Greeneville, Carolyn Collins of Whitesburg, Kathleen Collins of Rogersville; and several loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet on Sunday at 1:50 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 2 p.m. military graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday prior to the funeral service.
Clea R Collins was an absolutely wonderful man. He loved his family and had a special place in hs heart for his grand-babies. He was a U.S. Air-Force Vet. He was a farmer, and a security guard who always worked very hard. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved nature and animals. He always appreciated what he had, and never took anything for granted. He was very kind and gental hearted. He has 6 children, 2 boys and 4 girls. He had two wives, and was married to his 2nd one for 45 years. He really Loved her. He carved things out of wood, and made old tires into beautiful flower planters as a hobby. He liked to draw. He loved westerns. He always put others before himself...He was just the greatest man in the world, to me.
