He was from Hazelton (Mountain Dale) died at the Monongalia General Hospital,after a long illness.he was the son of the late Charles and Electa Rodeheaver Reckart.he was retired as a farmer and carpenter.he was a member of Mountain Dale church of the Brethern, and was a U.S.Army veteran of world war 2 victory medal,American theater service medal and a sharpshooter medal.he is survived by his wife,Betty Jean Romesburg Reckart of Bruceton Mills;two sons,Spencer A Reckart and Larry E 'Bob' Reckart both of Bruceton Mills;two daughters,Carolyn Sue Wolfe and Connie Marie Nieman,both of Bruceton Mills;two sisters;Venora Umble of Bruceton Mills and Alletta Thomas of Dennett Manor Nursing Home,Oakland Md.12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren,he was also preceded in death by a daughter;Phyliss Diana.
