On November 30, 1918, Mamie Alma Yancey married Walter N. Echols in Fulton County, GA (Fulton County Marriage Book, 1918-1919, p. 298). They had several children: Walter Norwood, Jr., Harriett Russell, Edgar Neely, Mamie T. and three infant Echols that were stillborn.
