He graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1976. On February 14, 1981, he married Robin Munson at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Dodgeville. Mark's true passion in life was spending time with his wife and family. He loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR and Number 3 was always his favorite number. Mark also loved spending time with his family and friends at the Mill. He was employed by the Iowa County Highway Department for 18 years, where he worked with many very good friends.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Robin, his children, Brook (Jesse) Meudt, of Ridgeway, and Matthew Reynolds, of Madison, the new love of his life his grandson, Isaac Allen Meudt, of Ridgeway, his brothers, Myron (Ruthie) Reynolds, of Dodgeville, Sam (Diana) Reynolds, of Rock Island, IL, Phil (Lois) Reynolds, of Madison, Tim Reynolds, of Dodgeville, his sisters, Delora (Jerry) Hall, of Reynolds, IL, Linda (Chuck) Reisen and Peg (Dick) Williams, both of Dubuque, IA, Mary Elliott, of Circleville, OH, Theresa Hill, of Dodgeville, his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Karen Munson, of Waunakee; his brother-in-law, Richard C. (Kerry) Munson, of DeForest, his grandmother-in-law, Gert Lobenstein, of Sun Prairie, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Geneva, his brothers, Ted and Pat, brother-in-law, Steve, along with many other close family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 29, 2008 at St. Mary's - St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mineral Point, with Father James Hinnen officiating. Burial was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Dodgeville. Friends called from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at St. Mary's - St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mineral Point. Friends also called from 9:00 AM until time of the Mass on Monday at the church.
The Gorgen - McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home of Dodgeville assisted the family with their arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Upland Hills Hospice.
