ROSE CRIBBS NYLAND, 77, of ____ Street, Northeast Canton, Ohio, formerly of the Plumville and Strongstown area died Wednesday, April 21, 1976, in the Timken Mercy Hospital, Canton, Ohio.
A daughter of George and Margaret Little Cribbs, she was born June 30, 1898, in South Mahoning Township, Indiana County.
Surviving are two sons, John G., Fairhope, Ohio, and William E., Canton, Ohio; two daughters, Betty Nyland, Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Wilbert (Jean) Bracken, Malvern, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Cribbs, Plumville and John Cribbs, Belsano; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Adamson, Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Blanche Nyland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Nyland, Oct. 8, 1937, and two sons, Charles and Robert.
Friends will be received from 7-9 pm today and from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at the Bowser Funeral Home, Plumville, where services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, April 24. Interment will be in Berracha Cemetery.
