Olive is the daughter of Granville Pearl Evans and Norvesta O. Blansett. The following notice was printed, in the Fordland, MO. Times (1898): "Died, Wednesday, May 25th at 5 p. m., Olive Evans, aged 2 years, 8 months, 12 days, of membranous croup. The burial took place at 6 p. m., the same day at the Fordland cemetery... The little one was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Evans. The family were moving from Springfield to Thayer, and Mrs. Evans and the children stopped here to visit her parents, W. M. Blansett and wife. Little Olive was taken sick suddenly, being ill but a few days."
