Henry F. Eckenrode died at his home at the "8-mile House" on the Baltimore pike near Pikesville, Md., on Monday evening from cancer of the stomach, aged about 64 years. Mr. Eckenrode was a son of John Eckenrode, deceased, and was born and reared on the old homestead near Granite Hill, Mountpleasant (sic)township. Deceased was married to Maria Clunk, daughter of the late John Clunk, deceased, of Oxford township, who with a number of grown children survive him.
