SAMUEL S. ARMISTEAD
Mr. Samuel S. Armistead, aged 70, died at his home near Port Haywood, last Friday afternoon. Mr. Armistead was a son of the late Thomas Armistead, for may years a magistrate in this county. He is survived by his widow, who before her marriage was Miss Rebecca Davis of East River, and a sister of Mrs. W. B. Green. Mr. Armistead is also survived by one sister, Miss Eliza Armistead, and one son, Mr. William G. Armistead, and one daughter, Mrs. Paul Collier. Funeral services were held at the home and interment was in Christ Church Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. E. E. Henley.
