Glennville - Martha Jones Bacon, 78, died Sunday at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins. The Mississippi native had lived in Warner Robbins for many years and was a member of the Central Baptist Church where she formerly served as Librarian for 25 years. She was a member of Martha Berry #35 Eastern Star, was an avid doll collector and a member of the Georgia Peach Doll Club of Central Georgia. The United Doll Federation and the Lantana Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Kress Bacon, Warner Robbins; daughter, Cindy Bacon Bryant, Charleston, WV; granchildren, Jason Bryant, Indanapolis, IN, and Amanda Bryant, Charleston, WV.
Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Gravside service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Cobb Funeral Home
