Ishmael Cutright, 81, 3521 S. Shields, died Monday morning. Survivors, his wife, Mrs. Eliza F. Cutright; one son, O.G. Cutright, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Mrs. R.E. Rice, Oklahoma City; one brother, Nathan B. Cutright, Buchanan, W.Va.; and two sisters, Mrs. Jerusha Lewis, Buchanan, W.Va., and Mrs. Celia A. Reese, Binger, Okla. Services will be conducted from the Hahn funeral home Tuesday at 4 p.m. by Rev. William Kitchen. Interment Rose Hill.

Cutwright Widely Known As Civil War Veteran.
Ishmael Cutright, 81 years old, who died this week at his home, 3521 S. Shields boulevard, was known throughout the country among Union veterans of the Civil War. Having served in Company K, Third West Virginia cavalry, Cutright took great pride in keeping alive the memories of former associates by attending many of the G.A.R. Reunions.
For 18 years he was manager of the Oklahoma City Drum corps No. 17, which played at reunions and also at the state fair here almost every year.
In the run of '89, Cutright homesteaded three miles north of Yukon, where he lived until December 1936(?). Soon after the opening, Cutright helped build the first board sidewalk in Oklahoma City, according to members of the family.
