Mr. Bonebrake had practiced for 60 years. He was born at Yeddo, February 23, 1850, the son of F.M. and Caroline Bonebrake. He was married in 1869 to Mary E. Shell and again in 1894 to Martha Jane Weaver. Both wives preceded him in death. He was a member of the Christian Church and the Odd Fellows and Masonic Lodges.
The following children survive: Janie Carter, Kingman; Rose Ashe, Ben, Oregon; Charles Bonebrake, Yeddo; Harvey Bonebrake, Joplin, Missouri; Ira Carter, Kingman; Kay Bonebrake, Minot, North Dakota; Lester Bonebrake, Marion. He also leaves 27 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Centennial Church at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, with Rev. A.C. Phane officing. Interment in Centennial Cemetery." – Covington Republican, August 9, 1929
