Gilbert Albertson
Albany – Gilbert Albertson, 70, died at 6:15 a.m., Sunday in his farm home six miles north of here. He had suffered a heat attack.
The son of Andrew and Christina Albertson, he was born Feb. 28, 1882, in the Norwegian Settlement. His marriage to Mrs. Daisy Kittleson took place March 28, 1933, and they lived on the home farm during their married life. He was a member of the Norwegian Lutheran church.
Survivors are his wife; a step-son, Maynard Kittleson; a sister, Mrs. Edwin Lewis, Belleville, and a brother, Otis, of Evansville.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Norwegian Lutheran church, five and a half miles northwest of here, the Rev. Mr. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friend may call at the Sharer funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening. The body will be removed to the church at noon Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Wayne and Harold Albertson, Winfred, Ray, Orville and Vaughn Lewis.
