Cora C. Danaher, 76, 620 Indiana Ave., St. Marys, died at 3:45 a.m. Monday at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, in St. Marys, where she had been a patient since May 16. She had been in failing health for the past four months.
Born February 27, 1900 in Minster, she was the daughter of Joseph Hausfeld and Josephine Fortman. On Oct. 4, 1927, she married Willis L. Danaher and he survives.
Also surviving are one son, James W. Danaher, Alexandria, Virginia; and a daughter, Mrs. Jerome (Norma) Hoheisel, Worthington; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. P. L. (Esther) Glynn, Montibello, California; Mrs. Martin (Margie) Wisener, Piqua; Mrs. E. S. (Marie) Hopkins, Centerville; Mrs. C. W. (Elsie) Meltz, Dayton; and one brother, Walter Hausfeld, Minster.
One brother, Clayton, and one sister, Irene, preceded her in death.
She belonged to the Holy Rosary Church in St. Marys and the Altar and Rosary Sodality.
A mass of resurrection will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the Holy Rosary Church in St. Marys. The Rev. Anselm Bowke will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Friends may call at the Yoder, Long and Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Tuesday.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Holy Rosary Church Building Fund. The ladies of the parish will recite the rosary at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday, in the funeral home.
