Born June 14, 1918, Gunnison, to Joseph Harold and Herma Keller Christenson. Married Elaine Sorenson Dec. 29, 1937, Axtell, Sanpete County. Farmer, stockman, construction worker. Member LDS Church. Past member, Gunnison Jaycees. Musician. Member Teamsters Union, Farm Bureau.

Survivors: wife; son, daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Deanne) Hill, Gunnison; Brent, Centerfield, Sanpete County; Mrs. Cortney (Becky) Struve, Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Keller, Gunnison; Clare A., Salt Lake City; stepsisters, stepbrothers, Mrs. John (Arlene) Gritts, Gunnison; Leo Averett, Mrs. Keith (Javerta) Malmgren, both Centerfield; Donna Loveil, Leon Averett, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral Friday 11 a.m., Gunnison LDS Stake Center. Friends Call Thursday 7-9 p.m., west wing of stake center, and before services Friday. Burial Gunnison City Cemetery.
