(St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Kittanning, PA - 4 Mar. 1912, with the Rev. W.E.H. Neiler, officiating, married Clyde Edgar Donaldson, age 20, of Kittanning and Elmo M. Patton, of Templeton. -----

On 13 Jan. 1920, when the U.S. Census, for New Kensington, Westmoreland County, PA, was enumerated, for her location, she and Clyde were living in that place and he was employed, in the Steel Mill, as a "Press Man." They had 3 children living with them: Elmer P., born 1913; Carl B. 3 1/2, born 1916 and Ruby G., age 10/12, born 1919.

On 18 Apr. 1930, in Arnold, Westmoreland County, PA, the U.S. Census had Clyde, living there, employed with ALCOA Aluminum, married to Valria, age 40 and with children: Elmer, 17; Carl, 13; Ruby, 11; Jennie E. 9 and Emma V., age 21 months.

On 19 Apr. 1940, we discover Clyde still residing in New Kensington, PA, aged 47, married to Valria and living with children: Elmer, 28, Ruby, 21 and Emma V., 11 and employed as Skilled Labor with ALCOA Aluminum.

Clyde's WWII draft card has his birth date as 21 Mar. 1892, in Kittanning, PA.)

At first, this person's "name" caught me off guard and I made mention of it in a "findagrave" note, however, (on 1/1/2013) this from a relative:

"Elmo F. [Patton] Donaldson was the wife of Clyde Edgar Donaldson. She died before my mother was born but I met all four of their children, a couple lived near us in California at least while I was young.

She died the day her daughter, Jennie Elmo Donaldson, was born...Jennie was my mother's cousin.

Thank you for the work you have done to preserve these important pieces of heritage.
