Ernestine was born on December 3, 1920 to Ernest and Jenny Lowe in Mesa, AZ. She was a student at Abilene High School and married the love of her life James on August 31, 1941 in Abilene. She traveled and sang with the sweet Adelines Barber Shop Quartet, spent many hours as a Foster grandparent at Abilene State School and enjoyed taking part in all the musical functions at Anson Healthcare later in life. One of her favorite pastimes was crocheting afgans for her family and friends at the Rose Park Senior Center.
Ernestine is survived by three children, Judy Nolan and husband Jerald of Columbus, NE, Jerry Chamlee and wife Mie of Las Vega, NV, and Danny Chamlee and wife Debby of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Timothy Nolan, Gregory Nolan, Jeremy Nolan and wife Stephanie, Lisa Morrissey and husband Cameron, Edward Chamlee, Linda Heffernan and husband Curtis, and Tanner Chamlee; five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Landyn and Caedyn Nolan, Jasmine Vill, and Alex Morrissey.
