Milton Westbrook was born in Cordele Georgia on December 9 1920 to parents Homer Clyde and Celo Westbrook. Milton grew up in the Cordele Crisp County and Wilcox county area. In 1941 Milton join the U.S. Navy serving his county in World War II. Milton served in the south Pacific. Following the war Milton attended the Universty Of Georgia where he was in the class of 1949 with a BBA.Milton was later the president of Delta Sigma Pi. Milton met Sarah Mercer around that time and they where married in 1951. Milton and Sarah where married for 54 years before he lost her to a stroke in 2006. In 1959 they had a son Bob. Milton and Sarah lived in the north Atlanta, Doraville Embry Hills, area for many years. Milton owned his own insurance agency and Milton and Sarah worked together until his retirement in 1985. After they retired Milton and Sarah spent many hours with there grandsons Bobby and Michael. Milton also worked in a business owned by his son Bob and himself. Milton and Sarah enjoyed retirement years at there cabin on Lake Lanier. Milton and Sarah lived in Cumming Georgia at the time of there passing.
Milton Westbrook was preceed by his Wife Sarah, brother Grady Westbrook, sister Wynlle Booker, and his daugher inlaw Laurie Westbrook, Milton is surived by his son Lt.Bob Westbrook, grandsons Bobby and Michael Westbrook of Cumming Georgia. brother Louis Westbrook Buford Georgia. and sister Lois Westbrook Cordele Georgia.
Funeral service were held on September 16 2008 at Sawneeview Gardens, Cumming Forsyth County Georgia. Byars Funeral Home Cumming, Georgia in charge.

Milton was a very loving husband, Dad, and Grandpa. He will always live in the hearts of his family who loves him very much and will forever miss him.
