Frances America Swallow was the daughter of Joshua Swallow. She married William Jackson Honeyman as his second wife on June 6, 1866 in Mercer County, Illinois. Frances, was the cousin of William's first wife, Martha Jane Swallow, who died August 12, 1864 and is buried in Union County, Indiana. Martha left behind three children; Rolandus W., Marcellus Ethelbert, and George Martine Douglas.
Sometime in the 1870's several Mercer County families went to Harvey County, Kansas, many with the "Prouty Wagon Train" in 1871. William and Frances Honeyman and family are found living in Emma Township in Harvey County, Kansas in 1880.
