ANDERTON, HOLLY JOY, 21, of Gansett Ave., passed away peacefully Sept. 5, 2008 after a courageous 5 yr. battle with liver cancer surounded by her family and friends.
Born in Providence the beloved daughter of Ronnie J. (Rosengren) Anderton of Cranston and David R. Anderton and his wife Nan of N.Y.
Holly was a graduate of Ponagansett High School. She recently received her certificate in Phlebotomy. She was a volunteer for the Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Childrens Hospital. Holly loved music, reading and making everyone around her happy.
Besides her parents she is survived by twin brothers Joshua D. Anderton and his wife Crystal of Washington and Christopher R. Anderton of Smithfield. She was the maternal grand-daughter of Louise Rosengren of Providence and the late Richard Rosengren a real hero who Holly adored. Paternal grand-daughter of the late Ronald and Marion Anderton. Also the love of her life Michael C. Tassone of Foster.
