Mina Naff, 88, of Bartlesville, and a former Parsons, Erie, and Independence resident, died at 12:23 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

She was born on February 14, 1920 at Parsons to Frank and Tina (Essig) Daniel. She grew up at Parsons and attended Parsons schools.

She and Wilbur R. "Rock" Naff were united in marriage on September 30, 1936 at Erie. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1992.

She resided in Parsons, Erie, and Independence before moving to Barlesville in 1979. She assisted her husband in their auto parts business in Erie and later in Independence. She was also a homemaker.

She enjoyed cats, house plants, flea markets, and garage sales. She also collected cut glass and glassware.

SURVIVORS: Her son – Rocky Naff, and his wife, Cynthia Tulsa, OK Her daughter – Betty Edwards Olathe, KS Two Grandchildren Three Great-Grandchildren Four Great-Great Grandchildren

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, John Daniel; two sisters, Maude Waggoner and Ethel Breneman.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Memorial Lawn Cemetery Patio. Friends may call the Carson-Wall Funeral Home at their convenience where the casket will remain closed. Memorials are suggested to the American Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals and these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 112 N. 26th St., P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Parsons.
