Thomas M. Artis, 85, of Hope died at 9:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Millers Merry Manor in Hope.
Mr. Artis was a member of the Abundant Life Apostolic Church and was a retired brick mason.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Christiansburg Cemetery in Brown County with the Rev. Larry Childers officiating.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home.
Mr. Artis was born Feb. 13, 1916, in Brown County, the son of Thomas and Frankie Carmichael Artis. He married Flora Seitz Sept. 7, 1938. She died Aug. 1, 1987. He married Catherine L. Donica Beck Dec. 19, 1987. She survives.
