Mr. Arnold was born August 8, 1914 in Plain Dealing, LA and had lived in Oil City and Mooringsport area most of his life. He was a member of the Oil City Church of Christ and a member of The Odd Fellows. He was a faithful Christian who prayed and read his Bible everyday. Mr. Arnold was retired from City Service where he worked for 32 years.
Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife of 75 years Novell Arnold of Mooringsport, LA, his daughters; Barbara Walling and husband Roy "Elvis" of Blanchard, LA, Joyce Boyter and husband Sonny of Vivian, LA, and Virginia Chelette and husband John of Mooringsport, LA, his son; Joseph Arnold of Texas, a foster daughter Marie Whitworth of Benton, LA; four grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
