Allie was one of eleven children born to John Thomas Warren and Sarah F.E. Edge Warren.

The other children were: Mary Lula, Maggie E., Joel "Joe" Rufus, Hugh Edge, Sarah E. "Sadie," Mattye Victoria, Jennie Elizabeth, Roxy M., Eula M. and Elbert T. Warren.

He married Lula Pearl Stewart December 24, 1905 in Cherokee County, Alabama.

They had the following children: John W. "Willie," Norris E., Ester Lillie Mae, Joel "Joe," Edward, Clara Lee, Lucille and Allie Warren, Jr.

Allie Clarence Warren 80, 104 Foskett Ave., Piedmont, died Friday at 8 p.m. at the residence after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shady Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Doyle Turkett, Harold Graham and Ovid Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Gray Brown-Service in charge.

Active pallbearers will be nephews, Fred, George, Taul, Frank, Herbert and Ralph Warren.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Lozahatchee Lodge No. 97F and AM.

Suriviing are his wife, Mrs. Lula Warren; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon Garmon, Mrs. Granvel Haslem and Mrs. Gene Williams, all of Piedmont; three sons, Willis and Edward Warren both of Piedmont and Allie Warren, Wenatchee, Wash.; six sisters, Mrs. John Stewart, Mrs. Sharpe Stewart, Mrs. Sadie Davis, Mrs. B.F. Early, Mrs. Jennie Naugher and Mrs. Herbert Wolfe, Sr., all of Piedmont; three brothers, Joe, Hugh and Elbert Warren all of Piedmont, and 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Warren was a life long resident of Piedmont, a member of the Lozahatchee Lodge and Shady Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A retired textile worker, he was the oldest of his lodge.

Masonic rites will be conducted.
