George Pierce, of Cherryvale, a member of the Knights of Pythias, died of consumption at a little past midnight Thursday night. The burial will be at the cemetery here and will be under the direction of the Cherryvale lodge. Services will be held at his late residence tomorrow morning and the procession will start from Cherryvale abaout 8:30 and drive to the cemetery here. Mr. Pierce was 38 years of age. He had been confined to his bed only since last Sunday.
