CHUMLEY

Mr. Ben Chumley, 60 years of age, formerly of Harrodsburg, died at his home in Lexington, Monday.

He had lived here for a number of years and was widely known all over Mercer county. He was a popular man and had many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Harrodsburg Christian church. Burial followed in Spring Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his widow and ten children, Mrs. Grover Mooney, Mrs. Mark Brown, Miss Bessie Chumley, Lavalette Chumley, Sleet Chumley, Abner Chumley, Horace Chumley, and Henry Chumley, Lexington; Mrs. Tom Lyon and Mrs. McKinny Anness, Harrodsburg; and two brothers, George Chumley, Louisville and Ed Chumley, Lexington.
