Special To The Record
LODI, Feb. 10 - Diphtheria, which was so prevalent here in November last, has commenced its dread work in the Dry Creek district. Several families are ill with the disease, and the little three year old son of Mr. And Mrs. Robert Adams has been a victim. The funeral of the child was held privately last Saturday afternoon, interment being made in Lodi Cemetery. The death of the child is doubly sad, as the mother, a brother and uncle of the little one are at present seriously ill with the same disease.
