Born on Dec. 16, 1932 in Beckville, she was the daughter of Everett E. and Ruby Walker Shivers. Mrs. McGuire was a retired licensed vocational nurse having worked 13 years at Panola Nursing Home, and was a member of the Church of Christ. On Nov. 9, 1948 she married Kenneth McGuire.
Mrs. McGuire is survived by her husband, Mr. Kenneth McGuire of Beckville; three sons and daughters-in-law, James D. (Snoot) and Cindy McGuire of Carthage, Gary and Cindy McGuire, and Randy and Kim McGuire, all of Beckville; one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Larry Peurifoy of Beckville; one daughter, Diane McGuire of Beckville; one brother, Ralph Shivers of Beckville; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J.M. Boothe, Wesley Jones, Nicky Parker, Ron Rhiddlehoover, Calvin Turner and Donald Vaughn.
