Donald O. Barbee, 78, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Barbee was born June 22, 1929, in Abilene to Harvey and Willie O'Shield Barbee. He married Betty Geraldine Burton on April 2, 1949, in Anson. He was a heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bluff Dale for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Eddie Barbee; sister, Judy; and brother, David.
Survivors: Wife, Gerry Barbee of Granbury; son, Harvey G. Barbee and wife, Linda, of Burleson; daughter, Donna Ann Barbee of Granbury; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Robbie Fay Taylor of Fort Worth and Jeanne Hillard of Winters; brothers, Dale Barbee of Dallas and Jerry Barbee of Lawn; and several nieces and nephews.
