Willie Ella Ray married Clarence B. Fitch on April 3, 1884, in Eureka Springs, Carroll County, Arkansas. They had three children: Clarence Ray Fitch, Ervin Rawls Fitch, and Ava M Fitch.
After Clarence died in 1909, Ella moved from Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to St. Louis, Missouri. She and Ava appear in the 1910 U.S. Census there. She earned a living by being a seamstress.
She met and married a widower, Frederick Wyly, sometime after 1914. They appear together in the 1920 U.S. Census living at 1004 Michigan Avenue, Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida.
It does not appear that Fred and Ella had any children together, but the 1920 census document shows several young children from Fred's first marriage to Mary Josephine Mefford Wyly.
Ella died in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, on May 29 1924, and is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery there.
