Lorene Baggett, age 87, of Cunningham, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.
Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2011 from 2 p.m. til service time 5 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Smith Cemetery, Budds Creek Road, Cunningham, TN. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
She was born February 4, 1924 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Samuel Pulley and the late Fronie Goodwin Pulley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dossie Bartee Baggett; son, Steven Baggett; son-in-law, Bobby Mayfield; brother, Carl Pulley.
She retired from the Clarksville Montgomery County School System as a cafteria server. She was a member of Locust Grove Presbyterian Church.
Ms. Baggett is survived by two daughters, Betty Mayfield of Cunningham and Brenda (Jack) Atkins of Lenior City, TN; one sister, Olene Tochtrop of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren, Saundra McKim, Patty Finley, Bobbi Arms, Scott Atkins, Mike Atkins, Brian Atkins and Jacqueline Atkins; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
