James Capling was the Son of William Capling and Barbara (Bavey) Wildfong. He was the Husband of Mary Laura Platt and the Father of William Henry Caplin. He was the Brother of Henry Caplin and was the Grandfather of Edward Therman Caplin and the Greatgrandfather of Dale Edward Caplin and Larry Lee Caplin. He rests next to the unmarked graves of three of his Grandsons, all dead in infancy. James lived through hard times.
