CLARKSVILLE — Wendy Louise Askins, 43, of Clarksville died Wednesday, July 7, 1999, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, a graduate of the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville and a school teacher.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be at Union Grove Cemetery in Clarksville under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home of Clarksville.

She is survived by her husband, Glen D. Askins; two daughters, Elizabeth Askins and Rebecca Askins, both of the home; two sons, Jason Askins and Corey Askins, both of the home; four sisters, Colleen Kasper, Debra Kasper, Virginia Kasper and Barbara VanScoy, all of Hartman; and a brother, Wendell Cook Jr. of Siloam Springs.
