Charles Clifford "Dock" Owens, 62, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday at a Jackson, Mississippi hospital.

The funeral will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, AL, with James Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.

Mr. Owens was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a son, Mike Owens of Elkmont; two daughters, Terri Holland of Russellville and Pat Jacons of Newport, Oregon; his mother, Leona Owens of Decatur; a brother, Sherill Owens of Summertown, MS; two sisters, Dorothy Williams of Toney, AL, and Helen Jones of Decatur; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
